About Lendi Femina
In view of the increasing number of girl students in the campus, Women empowerment & Grievance Redressal Cell (Femina Wing) makes every effort to ensure that the girls feel at home. The cell resolves common problems of girl students and also deals with the cases / complaints of sexual harassment and any other type of harassment of the female students, teaching and non-teaching women staff of the college, if any.
The functions of the cell are to safeguard the rights of female students, faculty and staff members of women and also to provide a platform for listening to complaints.
The Cell also tries to incorporate hygiene habits and ensure a healthy atmosphere in and around the college.
Time to time the cell conducts seminars and lectures by specialists and eminent personalities about health, hygiene and to build confidence among girl students.

To inculcate traditional values among the girl students, Femina wing conducted ‘Sankranthi Sambaralu’ for girl students. Under the event ‘Sankranthi Sambaralu’, we conducted the following competitions on 10-01-2017 and 11-01-2017. The activities like Mehendi designing, Pot decoration, Non-stop Telugu speaking, Rangoli, Kite making and flying, Traditional dress and Traditional dance.
Womens day celebrations

8th March is considered as International Women’s Day. This day brings many things for women – a cause for celebration, a reason to pause and re-evaluate a remembrance, an inspiration and a time to honor, loved and admired. To honor womanhood, Women Empowerment & Grievance Cell (FEMINA WING) at Lendi Institute of Engineering & Technology has celebrated the International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2017 in the campus.
Health Awareness camp
To create awareness among the girl students of Lendi, the Women empowerment & grievance cell (Femina wing) organizes a health awareness program every month. The purpose of the program was to sensitize the students about the importance of healthy diet and hygienic measures to prevent infections and promote better health. The session is very interactive. Many girl students cleared their doubts regarding food habits.
To inculcate healthy food habits among the students of Lendi, Femina Wing organizes very frequently. More than 150 girl students every week are taken to canteen where the fruits are distributed to them. The college Management, Principal and female faculty addressed the girl students about the importance of taking nutritious food. The female faculty suggested the girl students to eat a sweet made with groundnut and jiggery which is rich in iron..

Femina wing organizes an awareness camps on the ‘Impotance of Yoga’ to the adolscent girl students. We guide the students with different ASANAS and explain their importance in our daily life. It was a great event and each and every student together with our entire female staff enjoyed this event to the fullest.
Personality development session
To boost positive spirit among girl students Femina wing of Lendi organizes a personality development sessions by Ms. M. Shanthi, working psychologist. This is the need of the hour as it is essential for the holistic development of the student and their survival in this competitive world. Ms. Shanthi addresses the girl students about how to build positive attitude and how to foresee the situations of present actions.

To preserve the culture and traditions of India Femina wing of Lendi always endeavors to inculcate the habit of wearing traditional dress. Competition is held on traditional dress. The best traditionally dressed and spoke about the importance of tradition and culture they represent.
