Engineering Physics:Physics is the origin of all engineering branches. All the principles learnt in physics are going to apply in different branches of engineering & technology. Engineering physics is a general term, which is intended for a particularly technological or practical use and it is distinguished from "Physics" by a subtle combination of factors such as the motivation, attitude and the nature of the relationship to the science & technology. Engineering physics is rooted in the fundamental truths and basic concepts of the physical sciences but is concerned with the utilization of these scientific principles in practical devices and systems. The Department of Engineering Physics brings the student into contact with activity in several technical subjects like Optics, circuit analysis, electronic devices and circuits, electromagnetic fields etc. The Department deals with mainly Optics, solid state physics, semi conductors, super conductors, LASERS and Nano Science& Technologies, which drives the students to the technical areas as mentioned above. | |
